R.E.C.O.N. Pack

The Really Extreme... to be honest, there is no need for another forced acronym. However, the name is fitting. The RECON Pack is around the size of a small alice pack, but a different shape.  This bag takes on a WWII Finnish rucksack design, with two sustainment pouches and a pear shaped main compartment. This pack was purpose built for hunting. The pack is independant from the shoulder pad, this way you can take off the pack and still have a wearable ALICE frame. For hunting this is useful for tethering quarters to. You can even tether unique items, like paddle boards. Another option is using the pack without the frame, and having it turn into a duffle bag essentially.
The lid does not have a map pocket in it.
