Soft shell Cummerbund

Whether you decided to have side armor or not, this cummerbund comes with a lot of functionality if nothing else. It retains the elastic stretch of our normal MHC cummerbunds while being extremely utilitarian for building out a dedicated plate carrier rig.
The rear of the cummerbund has 3 inches of elastic that also doubles as an AR-15 sized magazine slot, then up from that you have the armor pocket. A 1/2" by 6" by 9" piece of soft armor can fit in this pocket. Do not worry about the armor sloshing around if it is smaller than that. We have a 4" tall velcro loop panel on the inside that you can adhere the armor to. We can ship the cummerbund with a velcro hook patch upon request for you. On the outside of the pocket are 3 rows, 6 columns of molle. At the front are magnetic buckles, as depicted in the photos, for easy donning and doffing, which are also repalceable if you somehow destroy one. These of course, can be substituted for a great discount.
What is really nice about this cummerbund is the ability to molle pouches on the side so you do not need to clip in a huge chest rig placard and you can have the sides of your plate carrier match in camoflage pattern.
